Machine Learning Researcher | Green Lab - Boston University School of Engineering August 2023 - PresentWorking to develop machine learning models to evaluate and generate functional RNA sequences. I am developing these models using Python, scikit-learn, and Tensorflow, and Keras. These machine learning models greatly cut down on the time and cost of developing new functional RNA sequences, which enables viral testing (such as COVID-19 testing) and new vaccines.
Software Engineering Intern | Apple May 2024 - Aug 2024Developing back end application to streamline project management operations using TypeScript connected to the Slack API. The application will be deployed using Kubernetes to reduce ticket screening time by 30% with extensive unit and integration testing using Jest.
Software Engineering Intern | Draper July 2023 - May 2024Worked as a backend engineer to develop a data management system for test data for guidance, navigation, and control systems. I utilized Java, Kotlin, and SQL to enhance REST APIs, improve data precision, expand the catalog of unit tests, and fix existing features. Utilized the Spring Boot MVC architecture and Postgres to improve data availability by over 25% and clarity for internal analysts.
Project Management Co-Op | Wayfair January 2023 - June 2023During my time at Wayfair, I drove over $360,000 in cost savings from license management, contract negotiations, and developing automation scripts. I spearheaded cost saving and management initiatives of 120 software applications and developed automation scripts using JavaScript and Google App Script to improve the user experience of internal tools.
